We loooove the idea of a lazy belle’s chicken salad…best way to beat the heat is to stay out of the kitchen!!

While out-n-about and on the job (aka…shopping) the other day, we ran across an über-cool line of accessories that we simply MUST share!  We love to see a little somethin’ new and different, and thought these were just a kick!  

At Taz “on the Plaz” in Greenville, we found these awesome necklaces using vintage (and totally functional) whistles!  

 

Combining style, history and safety (a belle needs to protect herself sometimes), these stunners from BLO Vintage will blow your socks off!!

With so many options (they have bracelets, too) we belles can always be ready for what comes at us…”every breath counts”

And speaking of “every breath counts”…BLO Vintage is very active in its support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, working to help those who battle CF and doing its part to help find a cure. 

Now that’s worth whistlin’ about, belles!!  You DO know how to whistle, don’t you??

A cucumber cocktail???  Well, don’t mind if we do !!

Since grilling season is here to stay for a spell, we love this new way to tell if your steak is done. 

We think summer sleepwear is imperative. We adore these and this for those hot summer nights.

Do y’all attract bugs as much as we do?? We are dying to try this.  A bug repellant and a perfume in one?!? Count us in!!

When it’s this hot out, no belle wants to sweat in the kitchen…here’s an easy dinner that will delight the tastebuds and still let you enjoy summer.

Did you know that when it comes to sun protection, your lips need attention, too?  Try some of our favorites here, here and here.

On the subject of beauty, we have found the fountain of youth…and we both use it religiously. Our skin feels and looks better and no breakouts! Get your share of this miracle oil ASAP!!

And, of course, belles love a great accessory!  We own this in coral, and it’s perfect on its own or layered.

We feel like we are pretty experienced travelers…apparently not!  We didn’t know jam was a liquid…and a few other things you might need to know before y’all get on your next flight….
